how to install eProc agent on new computer

When you install a new computer, you need to install the eProc agent on it.

Pre-requirements to install client agent on computers:

  1. The installation is done with the user that connected to the console.
  2. The user needs to be in the administrators group on the remote computer
  3. Firewall must be down or the 445 port needs to be open from the computer to the eProc server.
  4. .NET Framework 4.5.2 (or above) in installed.
  5. Remote registry need to be enable.
  6. Check if there is a connection to C$ .

Steps to install the client agent:

  1. Connect the computer to the network.
  2. To install the eProc agent go to the eProc Management console and select the deployment tab on the upper ribbon.
  3. In the deployment screen click on the Add Machine button.
  4. The add machines window will open.
    1. If you know the full name of the computer, you can search it by clicking the add button and fill in the “machine name” the name of the computer, and then click OK.
    2. By clicking the LDAP button and search the computer from there and then click OK.
    3. From a text File, click the arrow on the add button and select the txt file.
  5. Once the computer added to the machine name column choose the tag that you want to give to the computer and then click ok.
  6. Search for the computer in the deployment screen.
  7. Right click on the computer from the list in the deployment screen and from the menu click parallel actions -> install.

  8. In the machine deployment progress click start.
  9. Once the installation is finish click on close.
