On desktop information
How many times have you walked up to a system in your office and needed to click through several diagnostic windows to remind yourself of important aspects of its configuration, such as its name, IP address, or operating system version?

Steps to create a desktop information policy.
- Open the eProc console and navigate to Virtual Technician -> Advanced Policies.
- Select "On Desktop Information" under User, In the right pane click "Add".
- The “On Desktop Information” window open, here you can set the information visible on the desktop.
- On the bottom right you can set where the information will be placed on the desktop, by changing the size and location.
5. Fill in the description field.
6. Click add in the table, the “Line Information” window open.
7. Open the “Type” menu and select the information that you want to display.
8. Fill in the “Text” field with the text that you want to display.
9. Chose the “Font” details by clicking the Select button.
10. In the bottom line you can change the text to “Bold”, “Italic”, “Underline” and the color by clicking the little box in the right.
11. Repeat section 6 to 10 to add another line of information.
12. Check how it looks by clicking the “Preview” button.
13. Select a filter if you need to.
14. Set to “ON” the Live profile button.
15. Commit the changes.
