How to configure a filter with a condition.

Filters enable you to define a group of computers to apply a specific policy or policies.

  1. To add a filter, go to Virtual Technician -> Filter Management.
  2. Click on add in the table, the Filter properties window open.

    3.    Fill in the name of the filter, for example Win10 computers.
    4.    Fill in the description.
    5.    The Logical Operator allow you to choose between


            AND applies All Conditions

OR applies Any Condition


How to configure a condition.

Manage the condition properties for the selected filter.

  1. To add a condition, go to Virtual Technician -> Filter Management.
  2. Choose the filter that you want to assign the condition to.
  3. Click on add in the table under conditions, the Filter condition window open.



  4. open the condition filed by clicking the arrow, select an option from the menu in accordance with what  you want. In our example we choose "operating system.
  5. open the Operator filed by clicking the arrow, select an option from the menu in accordance with what you want. In our example we choose "Equal"
  6. open the Expression filed by clicking the arrow, select an option from the menu in accordance with what you want. In our example we choose "Windows 10"
  7. click OK to save.
