Set printer as default on remote computer

How to set the printer as the default on a remote computer.

Typically, when a service desk technician needs to change the default printer settings, he or she controls the computer remotely and changes the settings manually.

With eProc, this can also be done remotely.

  1. First, we go to the Control Center and click on Computers & Users.
  2. Locate the computer and double click on it to open the real-time view of the control.
  3. Once you are in the real-time view, go to the Printers tab.
  4. To set the printer as the default printer, right-click the printer and select Set as Default Printer from the drop-down menu, then click yes to confirm the operation.

    5.   Then eProc makes the printer default.
